Not everyone who completes the training for obtaining a Restricted Asbestos Removal Licence will undertake regular removal of non-friable asbestos.

The important information and knowledge gained during the training course can be forgotten over time. It is important to refresh this knowledge to keep yourself and others safe.

The WorkSafe - Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety website contains important information that can be used to help refresh and retain your knowledge.

Importantly the website contains links to the Code of Practice for the Safe Removal of Asbestos 2nd Edition [NOHSC: 2002(2005)] and the Code of Practice for the Management and Control of Asbestos in Workplaces [NOHSC:2018(2005)]. The website also contains valuable checklists, links to awareness information and presentations.

There is a link to the Australian Asbestos Network website. If you are not familiar with this website I highly encourage you to visit it. The Australian Asbestos Network is a valuable resource for information on Asbestos.

You may also wish to consider undertaking the Restricted Asbestos Licence Training Course again to refresh your knowledge.
