Mark Small – Director
Principal WHS Trainer | Lead Investigator
Mark is a senior Work Health and Safety professional and Lead Investigator with more than 20 years’ experience across high-risk industries.
He specialises in WHS investigations, including serious incidents, psychosocial matters, and complex compliance and governance investigations conducted within statutory and organisational frameworks. His investigative work is structured, evidence-based, and focused on assessing the effectiveness of systems and the reliability of controls.
Mark is an Adjunct Lecturer at Edith Cowan University, where he teaches incident investigation and investigation analysis. His paralegal training supports disciplined investigation process, evidentiary integrity, and procedural fairness in matters conducted under legal instruction. He also delivers practical, compliance-focused WHS training across Australia and internationally.
Greg Stagbouer
Principal WHS (Mining) Consultant
Greg Stagbouer is a senior mining and Work Health and Safety professional with more than 30 years’ experience across complex and high-risk mining operations.
He is an experienced senior leader and company director, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Health & Safety, and former Chair of the College of Fellows. Greg has also served as an expert member of the Mining Industry Advisory Committee.
Greg holds tertiary qualifications in Mining and Adult Education, together with a Graduate Diploma and Master’s degree in Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety.
Samantha Robinson
Principal HSEQ Consultant | Lead Investigator
Samantha Robinson is an accomplished Safety professional with over 18 years of experience working in the Resources, Energy, Renewables, Mining, Infrastructure, Government, Defence, Marine, and Oil & Gas sectors. She has extensive skills in QHSE management systems, as well as risk management, governance, training, logistics, operations, regulatory and internal compliance.
Samantha is an experienced Lead Investigator and a licensed Investigator, with a strong background in conducting complex investigations across various industries. She is also a certified Lead Auditor with accreditation from Exemplar Global, conducting internal and external audits, including ISO 45001, 9001, and 14001.
Adam Lillee (B.Sc.OT)
Principal Injury Management Consultant
Adam Lillee is an experienced injury management and workplace rehabilitation professional with more than 25 years’ experience across workers’ compensation and injury management systems.
An Occupational Therapist by training, Adam has worked in both private provider and employer-based roles, with extensive experience across the WorkCover WA, NT WorkSafe, and Comcare systems.
His expertise includes workplace injury prevention, physical and psychological injury rehabilitation, ergonomic assessment, and return-to-work coordination across a broad range of industries.
Adam facilitates the Injury Management Coordinator course developed by Edith Cowan University and delivered on behalf of Elect Training & Consulting, and also delivers the Workers’ Compensation and Workplace Rehabilitation module for the RACGP General Practitioner Registrar education program.
Michelle Stubbs
Principal Technical Writer & Instructional Designer
Michelle Stubbs is a highly experienced Technical Writer and Instructional Designer, specialising in the development, review, and standardisation of operational documentation and training materials.
She has extensive expertise in producing clear, structured, and defensible documentation, including policies, procedures, work instructions, guidelines, and learning resources, supporting consistency, compliance, and effective implementation across organisations.
Michelle works closely with subject matter experts to translate complex technical and regulatory requirements into practical, user-focused documentation that supports operational effectiveness, governance, and workforce capability development.
William (Bill) Byrne MOHS, BAppSc(Chem)
Principal WHS Consultant
William (Bill) Byrne is a senior Work Health and Safety professional with more than 30 years’ experience across the mining, energy, and oil and gas sectors.
Bill has extensive experience supporting major project construction, brownfield operations, and accident investigations, bringing strong practical and operational insight to complex, high-risk environments.
He holds a Master’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Chemistry), and is recognised for his technically grounded, pragmatic approach to WHS risk management and operational safety.
Richard Barna
Principal Leadership and Management Consultant
Richard Barna is an experienced company director and leadership consultant with extensive Australian and international experience across a range of industry sectors.
He holds an MBA from the University of Western Australia and has delivered leadership and management programs across diverse operating environments, including the offshore oil and gas industry. Richard is recognised for his practical, commercially informed approach to leadership development and organisational capability.
